Two pieces available – Mineral collector sculptures
Striking and elegant, these large green aventurine towers are carved from solid blocks of natural microcrystalline quartz. Their soft green hue comes from fuchsite inclusions—a chromium-rich mica that lends the stone its silky, almost glowing appearance. Fine cloudy striations run through the stone, like ancient breath sealed in mineral form.
The name "aventurine" comes from an 18th-century glassmaker’s mistake, when copper filings accidentally fell into molten glass, creating a glittery effect called avventurina—Italian for “by chance.” The name was later given to this naturally shimmering stone.
Both towers are six-sided and perfect as statement pieces, altar centerpieces, or mineral art objects.
